SON 28

The SON 28 is a universal hub dynamo for all wheel sizes from 16" to 29". It reaches its rated power in the 28" wheel at approx. 16 km/h (SONdelux 19 km/h). It is therefore recommended if a lot of light is required when riding slowly or if other devices (GPS/mobile phone) are to be operated or their batteries charged.The new SON 28 is similar in design and appearance to the SONdelux. In the standard version (non-disc), the flange spacing and bearing spacing are 12 mm and 10 mm larger respectively compared to the SONdelux. The disc versions are available with 6-hole and center lock. Compared to the SON 28 klassik (model year 2000 to 2011), idling losses have been reduced by approx. 15% and the weight by 140 g.
